OE/OS2003 Edition Sverige |
About half of all users of the orienteering Sport
Software are from Sweden, which is the motherland of our orienteering
sport. Because of that, there are special Swedish issues of OE2003 and
OS2003, which cover special Swedish requirements.
A special feature of OE2003 is the handling
of the entries, which is prescribed by SOFT (Swedish O federation). The Swedish
class table will
be preinstalled. There is a special Swedish archive available,
which is used together with the XML imports and exports of
entries and results
to n3Sport, the big sports data service in the web.
OE2003 had been enhanced by a special start list draw algorithm
according to the SOFT rules. There are special fields for the ranking
position of the elite runners and an extra
bib number, together with additional
functions to compute this information.
The Swedish issue of OS2003 includes
a special computing of the X-tra
teams.
These are
younster classes, where some kids do a leg simultaneously, with
a special result calculation. All report processings and the layouts had
to be customized to cover this feature.
There are also special and well defined SOFT rules for the start
fee calculation,
invoice printing and special
statistics, which have to be sent to the federation.
This is covered by the add on application SOFTEco. SOFTEco works together
with OE2003, OS2003 and MT2003.
